Committees

Executive Board

With focus on governing the NETLIB network, the executive committee’s main tasks are:

• Coordination of the daily activities for the continuity of NETLIB (general meetings, membership administration, Public relations, etc…),


• Soliciting funds and organizing Leadership development programs for members and target groups of NETLIB,


• Makes policies and decisions for the survival of NETLIB


• Is responsible for the financial management and continuity of NETLIB (fund raising and allocation),


• Setting up think-tanks to discuss issues that will help NETLIB achieve her goals and


• Building partnerships with organizations and governments supporting NETLIB cause.

Social Welfare Committee

Committee on Social welfare focuses on Health (care and education for all. Its main tasks includes among others:

• Developing, Proposing and Executing social-welfare and educational reforms programs and projects (primarily for the UN and (non-governmental) agencies supporting the improvement of the social welfare system in Liberia),


• Monitoring and collecting key data that helps NETLIB achieve her social welfare objectives,


• Makes periodic publications on the status of the Social welfare and education in Liberia,


• Propagating NETLIB objectives in joint-projects,


• Soliciting social welfare and educational projects for NETLIB.

Economic Development Committee

The Committee on Economic Development main tasks are, among other things:

• Developing and Proposing viable and reliable economic reform programs (especially for investors, the UN and governments investing in the welfare of Liberia)


• Monitoring and collecting key economic data about Liberia and the global economy that is critical for Liberia’s economic prosperity,


• Advising and in the long-term executing economic reform programs in Liberia


• Advising and proposing good public governance and business management practices


• Makes periodic publications on the status of the Economic Developments in Liberia


• Placing Liberia future economic reform program on international attention


• Advising investors, companies /banks/ ??? for invest opportunities in Liberia.

Strategic networking aand leadership Committee

The committee on strategic networking and Leadership development, headed by the executive chairperson of NETLIB, focuses on

• Establishing a strong interdependency network with individuals and other organizations for NETLIB and for Liberia: The net


• Developing, Proposing and realizing public leadership development programs


• Soliciting funding for NETLIB activities,


• Is responsible for recruiting and placing NETLIB members into leadership development programs and into committees,


• Building partnerships with organizations and governments supporting NETLIB cause.

Democracy and Political reforms committee

Committee Democratic and political reforms main tasks includes among others:

• Developing and proposing viable and reliable political reform programs (especially for the international community, the UN and governments helping Liberia achieve real democracy)


• Monitoring and collecting key data that helps NETLIB achieve her objectives on making democracy transparent and institutionalised in Liberia,


• Makes periodic publications on the status of democracy in Liberia


• Developing and advising on good public governance in Liberia.
